We bring you the local scoop on news, events, community happenings, entertainment and more with a focus on the westside of San Francisco. Why? Because we live here too! We’re keeping it mainly west of Divisadero, though every now and then we’ll venture beyond the fogline to cover can’t-miss events in broader San Francisco. After all, we all want to know what’s popping in the Mission, right?

What makes us different? We skip the city budgets, local politics, tech startup news, and traffic reports. There are plenty of publications doing that quite well. The Fogline is a love letter to San Francisco, a celebration of the people, places and stories that make this city so special. Our focus is entirely on San Francisco. We believe local stories should come from people who truly know the city, its neighborhoods, its quirks, and its heart.
